I have a love/hate relationship with Audacity, the free audio editing application. I generally love it. Last night I hated it. I do a couple of things to my show before you get it. I ran a noise filter (check), a compressor (check), amplify (check), normalize (oops). It was then that Audacity "lost" one of it's files. Ergh! The show will be delayed. I'm working, but doing this in addition to my day job is getting to me. Paul
